Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Mr Suresh Shetty is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who continues to work within the NHS while also seeing patients on a private basis at Shawbirch. He brings extensive hospital-based experience, allowing patients to access specialist surgical care in a calm, comfortable local setting.
At the practice, Mr Shetty provides complex dental extractions, surgical wisdom tooth removal, oral biopsies, and dental implant treatment. For many patients, being treated in practice offers a more relaxed environment and the opportunity to receive consultant-led care without the lengthy waiting times often associated with hospital services.
Mr Shetty holds consultant posts at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital NHS Trust and Walsall Hospital NHS Trust, where he is the Facial Deformity Lead. He is also involved in training and examining future surgeons through his role as a Specialty Examiner for the FRCS (OMFS).
