How Does the Process Work?

It starts the same way most orthodontic treatments do at Shawbirch Dental. First, we assess your teeth and take digital scans. Then, we can show you a simulation of the expected result before you commit to anything.

Once you’re happy to proceed, we make your aligners specifically for your teeth. You’ll wear each tray in the series for a set number of days before moving on to the next one. You’ll also visit the practice periodically so we can check progress and confirm everything is tracking as planned.

Because SmileFast focuses on fewer teeth with more limited movement, the whole process feels far less drawn out than a full course of aligner treatment.

SmileFast vs Invisalign: Which Should You Choose?

We get asked this often. The honest answer depends on what your teeth actually need, not personal preference. Invisalign is the more comprehensive system. It corrects crowding, spacing, and bite issues across the entire mouth, including back teeth. SmileFast, meanwhile, is the quicker, more limited option for straightforward cosmetic cases at the front.
